Ukraine - How you can help, right now.
As Putin's military invasion of Ukraine has unfolded, so too has a humanitarian crisis that has forced civilians to flee their homes or take refuge in bomb shelters and subway stations throughout the country.
Over 2.5 million Ukrainians have fled since the attack began, a number which continues to climb.
For anyone who would like to help the refugees and relief workers outside Ukraine, or the citizens, relief workers, and soldiers within Ukraine, we've curated a list of organizations worthy of your consideration...
Help with Refugee and Relief Worker Housing
airbnb.org
Millions of Ukrainian refugees crossing the border into Europe and thousands of aid workers arriving to help provide relief has resulted in a housing crisis. You can make a donation to help airbnb.org and it's partners (including IOM - International Organization for Migration, IRC - International Red Cross, International Medical Corps, CORE - Community Organised Relief Effort, IRC - International Rescue Committee, and HIAS - The Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society) connect relief workers and refugees with housing.
HELP CONNECT PEOPLE WITH HOUSING
Can you provide a comfortable bed and basic amenities for anywhere from a few days to a few weeks?
Airbnb will protect your home with $1,000,0000 in cover and they have partnered with the UN Refugee Agency to check refugee guests for eligibility and assist them before, during, and after their stay.

Sunflower of Peace
This Boston based organisation is providing first aid medical tactical backpacks for paramedics and doctors on the front lines. Each backpack's contents are specially selected to be used by highly skilled military combat groups - marines, special forces units and intelligence. These groups operate in areas without access to Medical Facilities or Emergency Care. Therefore, it's crucial that each combat group have a soldier capable of acting as a medic on the spot. Each backpack has the ability to save up to 10 lives: Ukrainian soldiers, civilians, volunteers, and children. They includes a variety of first aid supplies: bandages, anti hemorrhagic medicine like Quikclot and Celox, medical instruments, and a means for survival in extreme conditions.

United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF)
UNICEF's humanitarian work in Ukraine is focused on safeguarding children's rights to safety, health, education, psychosocial support, protection and water and sanitation services. Water and education systems have been and continue to be frequently targeted in attacks, and access to safe water and schooling is disrupted and remains limited as a result. Ukraine's increasingly fragile health system continues to struggle to cover essential services, posing an immediate threat to the lives and well-being of the country's 7.5 million children.

CARE
CARE was founded in 1945, when 22 American organizations came together to rush lifesaving CARE Packages to survivors of World War II. Today CARE’s Ukraine Crisis Fund aims to reach 4 million people with immediate aid and recovery, food, water, hygiene kits, psychosocial support, and cash assistance — prioritizing women and girls, families, and the elderly.
